Balwyn High School is committed to child safety. We have a zero tolerance of child abuse. All staff, volunteers, council members and parent association of Balwyn High School observe child safe principles and expectations for appropriate behaviour towards and in the company of children as outlined in the school’s Child Safe Code of Conduct. The school actively works to protect children, empower them, and provide a safe and inclusive learning environment. The school also takes appropriate action when responding to allegations or concerns.

Balwyn High School acknowledge and pay respects to Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin nation, Elders and Country whose land we come together on to work, learn and grow. We acknowledge that the people of this land maintain and share knowledge through an oral tradition that has been practised for generations. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
