Enrolment Information

Thank you for your interest in Balwyn High School for your child’s secondary education.

The Balwyn High School enrolment process strictly follows the requirements of the Victorian Department of Education and Training which prioritises permanent residency within the Balwyn High School zone. Prospective enrolments are required to provide evidence of their ongoing and permanent residence within the zone.

We encourage prospective enrolments to contact the school’s registrar prior to arranging accommodation within the designated school zone to discuss appropriate year levels and the availability of specific subjects and courses. Please ensure that you have confirmed that your residence is inside the Designated Zone prior to contacting the school using the form linked below.

Findmyschool.vic.gov.au hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones. To see if Balwyn High School is the designated neighbourhood school for your permanent place of residence, type your address, choose ‘Secondary’ and see if Balwyn High School is listed as your designated neighbourhood school. Any questions about school zones should be directed to the VSBA Hotline on 1800 896 950 or email vsba@edumail.vic.gov.au

NOTE: Responses to enrolment enquiries may be delayed over school holiday periods. All enquiries will receive a reply – your patience is appreciated.
